Superior Stone Massage

Another "must" workshop for those planning to work in a Spa.  This technique will offer your client a unique connection with nature, with a deep healing and centering experience that enhances their awareness of the earth and water creating a sensual experience of comfort and warmth.  Learn techniques in applying heated and chilled stones to the body.

Sensory Repatterning Sampler

Sensory Repaterning is a nurturing form of kinesthetic bodywork that enocurages the body to let go of limiting patterns and muscular restrictions.  At the sampler session you will observe Sensory Repatterning in action, experience it for yourself, learn about the background and philosophy of Sensory Repatterning, meet the instructor and learn more about the training seminars will begin in January 2010.

Aromatherapy

Learning the basics of essential oils and how to use them.  This class is for anyone interested in using essential oils to benefit their health, home and family.  You will learn why aromatheraoy is a safe, effective, and fun way to improve your health and your home, how to discern the quality of essential oils, reliable sources for acquiring them and resources for further learning, how essential oils are provided and how various production methods affect the quality and price, first aid uses, how to mix essential oils, beauty treatments, personal care, cleaning, disinfecting, eradicating odors, mold and mildew.

Intro to Tradional Thai Massage

Nuad Bo Rarn (Traditional Thai Massage) is a beautiful and elegant ancient therapeutic healing modality.  During this 6 hour introductory class, participants will learn a short Tradtional Thai protocol and will be provided with basic information on the benefits and contraindications of this work.

Luk Pra Kob

Luk Pra Kob is the wonderful art of using warm herbal compresses in conjunction with a massage treatment in Thailand.  During this one day class, we will look at the various traditional herbs that are incorporated into the compresses, along with additions and substitutions that are readily available in our area.
